Bumped into Curious G. at a Payless Shoe Store. Said he was looking for a pair of cheap but comfortable jackboots. The poor thing looks pretty shaky and frazzled. He told me he had car trouble on his way over and when I asked what the problem was he muttered something about the “axles of evil.” Later he tried on a white double strap high-heeled pump. I gotta admit – they looked good on him!
