My
favorite eco-party, the Green Machine, might actually finally get an opportunity
to press their lips to the trough! There's a chance B.C. politico, Andrew Lewis,
could become Canada's first Green MP. "And then it's barbecues, swimming
pools, and SUV's, for me!" the understandably giddy political composter told
anyone who would listen. 'The Party That Runs On Vegetable Oil' is, of course,
ecstatic about the possibility of having a seat in Ottawa. "I've never even
been there!" Mr. Lewis confessed, "In fact, I've never even seen the
Parliament Buildings… Not even on the news; that's because I don't have a
TV, but that's a political choice… and also because I can't afford one…
But that could all change! Do you know if I'll get a chauffeur? And a butler?
I've always really wanted to buttle someone around."
Mr.
Lewis confessed he was "going to practice being a real politician" later
this evening at his house, "I'll steal all the money from my son's piggybank
and then blame someone else… Yee-haw!"
