I called
all my politico pundit pals to see if I could get a comment from them regarding
Sven "5-Finger-Discount" Robinson and the fact that he's officially
been charged with one count of theft over $5,000, and that if convicted he could
spend the next 10 years in the slammer.
"That gay, I, um, mean,
"guy," is a crook. No better than a sex offender. I always suspected
that Mr. Robinson had Liberal Party leanings and this act of thievery just confirms
it. And as the new super hero of family values, I'll make sure he rots in a bilingual
prison."
The Passion of Hair Harper "I'll see
to it that Sven gets the best Health Care Plan. I will fix Health Care for criminals.
After all, they too are voters. I will not rest until I know that society's imprisoned
and dregs are receiving reduced waiting times for The Health Care that they so
richly deserve. To repeat, ad nauseum - Health Care, Health Care, Health Care!"
Paul
"Caring about Health" Martin
"Sven is innocent. This
is obviously a Liberal Party ploy to make me look bad. I bet Mr. Martin finds
it funny. On a completely different subject
You know what would be so cool?
If I became the new PM. I think my latest flip flop on the inheritance tax really
shows that I can backtrack with the best of 'em!"
Jack "I
think I can, I think I can!" Layton
-----
One
of my absolute fave things in politics is to watch when these guys insert all
ten little piggies into their boar-holes. Take boffo conservative Harpo. His handlers
had warned him not to start yapping about a majority government and looking all
smug and pleased with himself: They told him it would make him go blind, that
it would grow hair on the palms of his hands, that it would stunt his growth,
and that he should just keep quiet and keep squeezing that bicycle horn of his
while making Canadians laugh. But he just couldn't help himself
But then
none of them can, can they?
