So I called
Harpo and asked him if he thought he might have gone a tad too inflammatory by
issuing a press release stating that Paul Martin supports child pornography. I
mean, come on! He told he honestly thinks he didn't go far enough and said he
truly believed the Liberals were soft on porn. Not wanting to get into the semantics
of being "soft on porn" I instead asked him if he thought that going
to this new low was a smart political maneuver or akin to the type of grubby and
cheap politics of the desperate that he had so far been successfully trying to
avoid. He got really snippy, told me that when he was running the country questions
like that would not be tolerated and that if I had any books by Vlad Nabokov,
I'd be wise to burn them now before his proud New Conservative Order Police did.

Duceppe called. Said he no longer is in love with me and
therefore he "probably" has forgone all plans to have me mercilessly
destroyed… "But nothing is for certain, Ant Buddy!"
I gather
he has fallen hard for a dung beetle he met in a biker bar in Chicoutimi.
