Have decided to pass on attending the French debate
because I've got better things to do (and I wasn't invited). When Duceppe
heard I wouldn't be joining in tonight's festival of bloodletting, he
sent me a note that read, "Really sorry to hear you won't be there
tonight, Ant Buddy. I was looking forward to nailing you - on the issues."
Oh those wacky French politicians and their double entendres.

Put my antennae up in curlers and decided the time has come to write a
few more policy papers. On the subject of affordable housing and homelessness,
I believe I have the perfect solution: People Hills.
That's right - People Hills.
When elected, Team Avery will immediately initiate a research project
to determine the feasibility of creating mass underground people colonies
to house the homeless. As you may well know, ants have been living in
housing of this nature for sometime, and hey, one of us is running for
Prime Minister, so it obviously isn't a detriment to higher ambition.
The way I see it, each colony could house between 3 & 4 thousand homeless.
In addition to providing permanent housing, social benefits include the
promotion of social interaction, a sense of community, and it keeps people
off the streets whey could have potentially a detrimental affect on tourism,
industry, or just aesthetics (let's be honest, those squeegee kids are
pretty darn scary looking!). And, on top of that, each colony would get
its very own queen - and all the subsequent sitcom nobility hi-jinks and
royal family sex-capades that come with the monarchy.
